Like a lot of today’s telecommuter’s, I am very family oriented. I utilize various tools to connect in and remotely administer computers and network equipment. Because of my profession, I am forced to stay abreast of the latest technologies and applications available for use both in the home as well as in the office. I got started in this business providing Tier II tech support for Verizon Online Dial up and DSL customers as well as small business networks and have done nothing but expand into the higher levels of support since then.
I have worked with such companies as Colonial Properties Trust, Resource Management, Cardinal Health, Kamtek, BBVA / Compass Bank, and Southern Company. I have gained valuable experience assisting these companies, and coupled it with my Bachelors degree course work at ITT-Technical Institute in Technical Project Management before changing my major to Information Systems Security. I am currently working to secure my MCSE and CCNA certifications and will likely pursue others as needed if this service begins to take off like I hope it will. I really would be happy to have this turn into a consulting firm and be able to manage this on a full time basis.
